Can we please stop calling ourselves lazy?! When I’m in the salon, I hear this phrase more often than one would think. Many clients use this phrase to describe their hair or when referring to how they like to style their hair.

Description of imageI don’t believe that anyone is “Lazy”!!! Everyone has a preference on how much time they are willing to put into their hair. That could mean maintenance for hair color, hair cutting, styling, etc. Just because you don’t want to put a lot of time into getting ready to enter the world, doesn’t mean you are lazy.

Discussing this with your stylist is super important and will/should change the technique the stylist uses to cut/color your hair.

There is such a thing as a “good” haircut and a “bad” haircut.

Life is too short for boring hair!

Cutting the hair in such a way so your client can have a style, but not put a ton of time into getting ready is very possible. Also, if you are going to an event soon there are many ways your stylist can help freshen up your look without spending hours in the salon.

Book for a bang trim or beard trim. If you have a short cut come in for a quick little hairline cleanup. This can do a lot for your style and look without putting a ton of time in.

Lastly, how much time does your stylist take to talk with you during your appointment? If your stylist isn’t taking the time to discuss style, the time it will take to style, and your preferences…… then it might be time to explore looking for a new stylist.

You should always feel heard!
